Does anyone here play Puzzle & Dragons?

I used to play it, but the mid-game becomes a little too grindy. Unable to advance without much stronger monsters, but hours of grinding leads to only marginal strength increases.

I have the 3DS version... I think the monster designs are really cute and nifty, and I like Syrup's angry "wtf" pose. And the gameplay's fun, but it takes sooo long to level up and/or evolve that I find myself losing patience sometimes and only playing it in short bursts.

I do! Thanks to you actually. Been slacking on it a bit though

I'm in the same place - really, GungHo could do more to make the midgame move quicker to keep the progression treadmill feeling a lot more steady.

I don't really have too much trouble -- I find midgame is where farming +Eggs, evo/food mats, and planning teams accordingly is where the meat is in the game.

On the contrary, I found the starting a little boring. It feels really straight-forward until you hit Castle of Satan where there's a sudden wall of difficulty. It just feels like they didn't stress importance on team-forming slowly on you and suddenly when you hit CoS, you're stuck until you grab stones and roll during galas.

Cleared my first descended today and got Hera on my first try. I thought it would be harder honestly but Odin tanks everythiiiiiiing.
