So, My purchase of Photoshop has run out, and, I have no money to currently re-purchase it. Does anyone know of any photoshop-esque software that's free? I've tried gimp, but, it seems to lack a ton of features photoshop has.

On a side note: I may just not be looking in the right places.

I'm not sure if you knew about it already but it had made editing easier for me before I started using PS CS6. It's still updated from time to time as well so you can expect new features every now and again.

There's also GIMP, Paint.NET, and Inkscape depending on what you need.

wait...your "purchase" has run out? As in, you paid good money for a full and comlete copy, and it's just stopped working?

As in, it's a subscription program?

That's a very not-cool setup.

I think Photoshop switched to a subscription only use method at some point recently, because they apparently weren't making enough money off people already.

Wiki page says Creative Cloud (2013) onward is $49 monthly subscription only, and so CS6 was the last non-subscription version.
