If you act desperate, that can hinder your chances. There are a lot of bad subs out there who behave extremely desperately, but then are selfish and disrespectful to their Dom once they find one. It's caused a lot of doms to shy away from new subs who come across as desperately wanting to be tranced. Your best chances would be to go to a meetup place like sleepychat or #tranceland and participate in some of the normal conversation there. After people get to know you better, you will have a better chance of finding someone willing to trance you.

As a Switch, I must say....Nothing turns off the Dom in me like a sub being desperate. It's repulsive and makes me feel like I need to shove you away from me. (Not you personally). Regardless, Trust is crucial in a Dom/Sub Relationship. Without trust there is no ground for trance to stand on.

I do audio hypnosis sessions for women but I only do them for people I know well. Quite frankly just doing stuff with random people usually ends with an unpleasant experience. I'm too busy and have too little time to mess around with that.

Anyway what I tend to look for in a sub I'm willing to have a session with is just being a pleasant person. If I can't get along with you generally I just don't want to have anything to do with you in an erotic context.

Of course for the men hypnotizing women side of things the demographics are heavy with half-assed maledoms for a small community of women. The opposite is true for men wanting female doms - there's a lot of men and few femdommes, so the good ones get to be picky.

*nods* Yes I can attest to that. Trust is a huge part of hypnosis and the relationship between to people. The more trust between 2 people the more comfortable both will be with each other, and the easier it is so go under (imo).

Unfortunately I've never had the luxury of being able to trust someone enough to go so deep into hypnosis that my mind might as well be jelly. It's the type of trust I'd love to have with another person. But I'd never yell and actively complain about it consistently on forums, chat, etc.

I like to consider myself a switch but I also have trust issues in giving my mind over to others and can't relax enough to enjoy it.
Trust is definitely a huge part, and I consider it a huge responsibility as a dom to make sure any subjects feel comfortable and safe and enjoy the experience as much (though I try to make it moreso) than oneself.
