Don't know in how far the "mass-producable image" applies to Garry's Mod, but things like MMD and Poser are allowed and from my understanding give very similar, if not indistinguishable results.
So I'd say Gmod is allowed, but standard quality stuff applies.
Don't take my word for it though - I'm not a mod or anything.
