Untranslated scans of mine.

I've noticed that a lot of the scans that I've uploaded haven't been translated at all yet. Especially the black and white ones. Are they so bad that they're not worth translating. If I don't know, I'm going to drive myself crazy.

Unless you're perfectly fluent in both languages, translating is time consuming.

I am unemployed as of now, however. You've got 4 of them missing. I'll translate all four for $15 US. DM me if this is agreeable.

That goes for other people in general. Rates would vary based on the amount of text (indeed, the only reason his is up to that is because of the one color picture in there with a lot of text on it), and also whether or not the piece in question is optical-character-recognition friendly or not (which, again, the color image). Japanese-English only.

I don't know how to do that. I've never transferred money on the internet at all. Not even when I got that DOJ Ransomware virus a couple of years ago. Not to mention, I don't even have that much money anyway.

That's fair. Not trying to shake anyone down, just thought this was a good chance to pitch my talent.

Depending on what job i get next year, i may try to do some freelance paid translating, pay for my gaming habit if i'm barely making ends meet from my day job (which could be the case if a certain opportunity goes through).

I've tried to translate using software and... well the results aren't pretty.
Example from post #17477:

Sweet! One of my translations is being used as the good example! ...Of course the competition is a little... I don't even know what happened there. Actually wait, yes I do. The text on that picture was handrwritten... and not very well at that. One of the few times where it was harder for me to read the Japanese than to translate it.

You know, you are not entitled to get a translation. You can upload them, add the tag and ask nicely in the comments.

This sounds more of a line a boss would tell someone that was lazy. It's pretty rude to write it like that. I even checked your uploads and you are pretty lucky with translations. You got a decent amount of them translated by other people. Be happy with that.
