I've always had mine I think? I remember being a kid always being non-sexually fascinated with it, and all of my really really favorite series had some kind of mind control in it.
As I got older I started to think of it, well, sexually. I didn't think it was weird at the time (the stigma about my fetish hit me real hard later) but it was really really weird/ awkward to watch hypno scenes with my family.
One day I was browsing on youtube and decided to look up "hypnosis" out of curiosity (after a lot of internal debate abt doing so) and after watching a few videos I noticed one of the comments on a video I was watching said something like "this is weird, people enjoy this?" and someone replied to that comment saying something along the lines of "yeah, its people who have a hypnotism fetish. they watch this and get off" and suddenly I had a name for how I felt about hypnotism for most of my life.

Honestly, for a while I had this one hypno youtuber (I'd rather not mention their username) who's videos had a REALLY big effect on me. Like, it screwed with my daily life and still sorta screws with my head to this day. It's weird because, outside of their youtube channel I can't find anyone mentioning them on google or anything about them (even on hypnohub) anywhere, yet they still continue to make videos and have more than 2 million views total on their channel. After their videos screwed with me, I really developed a stigma towards my fetish and stayed away for a while. I'm trying to get back into it so I can accept myself more instead of just hating everything about myself ;;

The start of my hypnofetish was pretty dark actually.

So I was like 12 and a teenager with hormones who downloaded a porn game called 7 Sins (which has a surprising attention to detail for a porn game.). One level involved magical bimbofication ice cream that was to be used on some business rivals to turn them to your side. I didn't think of it that much at the time, just some porn weirdness. Most of my fantasies at the time involved weird sexual challenges so this porn game was quickly forgotten.

Fast forward to when I was 13 and a half years old. I get raped by a female classmate two years older than me through blackmail (of the "quit struggling or I'll scream for help and say you raped me" kind).

But the ending isn't that bleak: fast forward a few years of therapy, and I'm stuck with a fetish that bothers me even though I'm aware it's just a fucking daydream (and by that I mean a daydream about fucking) and a desire for being under as stress relief (the idea that for a few minutes I don't think about my worries, problems and frustrations).
