I used to follow Presidus, who was this 3D artist that would make various pics and present them free on his site. He hadn't posted anything for well over a year (since June/July 20114 I believe...), and I found one person saying that he died in a fatal car accident (check in the comments of his DeviantArt page: presidus.deviantart.com). His site's now been set to private for the past few weeks, so I can't confirm whether or not it's true. Can anybody confirm this statement...?

if i remember correctly, in his previous blog before his comeback after 2 years of nothing, we already had some rumors about his " crash death" posted by people who presented themself as presidus's family

so i suppose its just people who get tired of waiting, and create rumors about presidus

in my opinion, presidus never really liked what he did ( he started a lot of unfinished project ) and he is still probably alive, but want to stop doing comics so he closed his site so people will stop asking him about his next update

Heh, i was just wondering about that. His last update was in 2014, like you said, and i've been checking at odd intervals since then.

The guy's plotting and hypno scenes weren't all that great, actually, but his models were HOT.

Does anybody know who else is doing that kind of work, though? It seems like a niche waiting to be filled, like Gorgogorgo (another guy i haven't checked in a while. Haven't logged into my DA at all in months, haven't posted there at all since Summer '14, deliberately done with that).

That bites. As much as I agree that his plotting could've used some work, he definitely did a fantastic job with making his work and letting us check it out. A shame it's been made private, so I can only hope that somebody somehow can try and talk to him to at least confirm that he's tried to "fake his own death." I can understand the need to not want his audience constantly pestering him, but jeez does it make me feel upset to hear that he's pretty much gone from this World.

I'd love to see someone try and take up his old work to at least bring them to a close, but they'd need to find a way to contact him to ask and once again essentially confirm that he's not actually dead... :/

I was sad to see it removed, as I tend to take these things for granted. I really enjoyed Power Struggle, the hypno scenes with Draxen were really good in my opinion.

I've got quite a lot of Presidus' stuff. If I remember, I'll try and throw them on a file sharing site sometime.

It's a shame he didn't seem to enjoy his work, hopefully he is not dead, and he found something better to do. Just kinda wish that there was a bit of forewarning before taking down the site, I always hated it when things disappear forever from the internets, like old flash sites I would visit as a child. His artwork is very good as well. To me, it seems that in 90% of all 3d hypno-fetish comics every single woman has breasts closer to flesh colored beachballs than actual breasts, and I can't tell you how much it bothers me. Presidus did not do this, however, and for that, I appreciate his work so much more.

Regardless, whether it be an accident or personal reasons, he doesn't seem like he'll be back anytime soon. We can only hope for the best for him now.

Eh, no worries. I always found myself getting frustrated at the unfinished status/some of them being written in Spanish. There's no shortage of great stuff here and on Hypnopics.
