I'm extremely confused
I keep looking for a way to learn how to hypnotize, and I get contrasting results, on one hand, that the subject is pretty much just sleepwalking, and I can't do anything fun or sexy (I plan to hypno my gf, not a random stranger, don't worry), on the other hand, that the subject will do anything that isn't worrying them, which has a lot more options. Which one is right? Cause I really want to try that, and I heard somebody telling me he used it in a way I EXTREMELY like.

Thanks in advance.

As you know, hypnosis varies from person to person; while one method may work on one person, another method may be more effective on another person and vise versa. Hypnosis I feel is an art; one that has many different styles and options. My suggestion is just to practice and play around with it; find a style that suits you, but is also effective for the subject(s) in question. I hope this was able to help you. :)

Well it is subjective, but I generally use my voice to induce trance. I lower my voice to an even, relaxing and almost seductive tone. As far as text; I use a very charismatic and proper texting style. One that is easy to follow, and is very interesting to the person I am talking to. Not sure how you go about hypnotizing people so I can't really say what might work the best for you. If I were to make a suggestion, I suggest a style that is personable, proper, and mysterious.
