anyone seen super mario world on 3ds?
ya its on 3ds super mario world that is and only if you have the new 3ds and there is no multiplayer or download play nintendo really dropped the ball on that one

Dude, it's just a Virtual Console release. It's a port, not a remaster. Why would expect there to be new features?

You want Super Mario World updated, play the GBA port. They fixed Yoshi's and Luigi's spirtes, gave Luigi different abilities with Yoshi, and gives you a reason to collect Dragon Coins.

The GBA port modernizes other stuff too. Save anywhere, it has a list of all of the stages so that you can figure out where you want to exit too, getting hurt with a cape or fire flower downgrades you to Super Mario instead of all the way to normal, and saving holds over your number of extra lives.

Of course, if the n3DS version has save states like the Wii U one, the latter point is fairly moot.

It's not even a port. It's just the original game stuck in an emulator.

i expected it to be at least 2 player download play cause original and one on wiiu is 2 player

Those can also have 2 controllers hooked up to one console. It requires no extra programming. What you're suggesting would require more programming to work, and like NAFTW pointed out, it's just the original game running on an emulator.

true but theres download play on supermario bros 3 [also 2 player] and its still 2 player and its older than mario world
