Banjo Kazooie Race for Charity!
Hey there everyone! I just wanted to make an announcement! Recently I came up with an idea. For charity, I wanted to do a speed run of sorts. Then I thought, why not add in some friends. So far, Zyii and my buddy Vorp are on board so far. I'm still working out finer details and an actual date, but I figured I'd generate some hype! This will be a streamed event, viewers can donate to the stream and that money will be given to charity!

That's right, this entire event will be entirely charity based! At first I originally thought of doing an art related thing for charity, but that would be a nightmare, so I think a video game would be a better choice.

Now WHY did I pick banjo kazooie? Well that's because the game can literally be beaten in a day! Even less than that if you're super skilled.

I also want to say this event will be available to just about anyone. If you are interested and have a decent internet connection and means of streaming a CONSOLE version of Banjo & Kazooie (xbox 360, Xbox one or n64 version) please shoot me a message and I'll write you down!

Stay tuned for more info!

Are you gonna get all the Jiggies/Notes or are you just gonna rush straight through? 100% speedruns are cool too.

I was thinking maybe 100% speed run, but not quite sure. Because I'm using the n64 version which means if I lose a life, i have to collect the notes ALLLLLLLLLLLLL OVER AGAIN.

Well, darn. Haven't played enough Banjo-Kazooie to be able to speedrun it. If this were Mario 64, I'd be in.

by the way this is like a normal play, no glitches allowed! So you could definitely compete if you wished to even just for the fun of it! I'm hoping to gain some traction and attention with this. I'm wondering if I should hold a vote for which charity to donate to

Eh, even still, I'd need to buy it for 360 to be able to qualify, and I'm not sure I want to do that when I just recently spent a little over $35 on downloadable 360 games in the past week.

Well, if you do another one of these, I hope it'll be for a game I have, because it sounds like fun. And hopefully I'll have finished moving by then so I'll have the free time.

If anyone else would wish to join in on this, PLEASE shoot me a message here or at [email protected]! Feel free to even recommend a charity! I was thinking something like St. Judes, or the Jimmy Fund

You can't really going wrong with St. Jude's. Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) is good too. Vinesauce did several charity streams for them.
