Hey, remember Splatoon? If you're like me, you probably haven't played in a long time, despite loving the heck out of it. Well, I've been wanting to play again recently, and I got the crazy idea to hold a tournament for the users here, and probably stream it as well.

Now, as for what the purpose of this would be, I don't know yet. Aside from fun, any good tournament needs some sort of purpose. A prize would be great. Alternatively, a charity event like what PenKen is planning to do with his Banjo Kazooie speedrun is also an idea. Maybe even some kind of sponsorship where donators back certain teams?

I need you guys' help figuring things out. For one, I need to know how many people here would even be interested in joining, and how many of you have the means to also stream the game. I need help deciding what the goal of the tournament should be. And I need help figuring out how to structure the tournament.

Right now, all I know is I'd like to have teams of four, and I'd like to base the tournament around at LEAST Splat Zones mode.

I haven't played in a while it I've been wanting to play again for a while and this sounds like a great excuse to play some more. I'm not really talented enough to offer anything other than like amateur fanfics but I do love me some splatoon.

If it matters I'm not max rank or anything and I most just play Roller but if anyone wants to play sometime I'd be down. So yeah sign me up and I'll keep tabs on this

Also I don't know how to stream so I probably won't be able to but I wouldn't have an issue being on a stream or anything, if that matters.

Oh geez. It'd be awesome to hae a reason to play this. I haven't played in so long. DX

Have to derive if you have enough users for it, first. I could be game depending on the weekend and if i'm available.

Friggin' splatfest next weekend, i'm going to get a car next saturday, don't have time to spend on it.

Well, I've already got several others who I think will join in, but yes, I need to establish exactly how many are interested. As for the question of when, I feel like we could work around people's schedules. It doesn't need to be a specific weekend or whatever. We can just hold the matches whenever everyone on two teams is available.

I'm waiting to see if the NX will be backwords compatable. It won't, but it feels too late to jump into the Wii-U. Which sucks, cause I really want it. Oh well, at least it gets Smash at launch.

That definitely sounds more accessible. Could always use more Splatoon friends on Wii U.

So, according to my current count, I've only got enough for around 3 teams so far. Definitely gonna need more than that.
