My works are under the Creative Commons. Anyone else?
All my manips (and other things I make online) are under the creative commons license Attribution 4.0 International. Basically, people are free to post and share and even edit my works anywhere, as long as they say I made the original work.

Anyone else on here on board this this? creativecommons.org/

>my manips
>I made the original work

I see a fundamental flaw in this idea.

I'm just doing what humanity has been doing for centuries. Taking ideas and arts from other people, and using it for their own ideas and art.

I think the point is that it's not your work, and thus not yours to license. The stuff a manip adds to an image generally only forms a very meager portion of it. Nobody is going to want or need a license to edit just those portions.

The Original Content is not yours to relicense. For Instance, a fangame that uses original assets can license those assets under any license, but assets that are copyrighted by others retain their own license.
