Been down this road. People like what they like. They find other things to be to much work and not worth doing.

In my opinion, at this point, there's no point in nitpicking manips now.

The only thing that you can really do is try to create a separate standard and hope that others care about it. I find the chances of that, however, slim to none.

On my manips I play the game a little and lean in directions that seem to correlate with high scores because hell if I'm gonna do something and put it out there then I might as well make something that they'll appreciate more, right?

That said it's a shame we don't have neat tools to help people discover more images. Sadly this site doesn't manage to keep its database clean and consistent as it is, so it's not really possible that we're going to get more. Make some yourself. If you have original ideas to bring to the table, do it. I was inspired to start making my own for similar reasons. I enjoy making what I make because I know at the very least that I'm trying something different, even if it's not usually going to be hugely popular. If I can manage at least 5 points per manip, I'm satisfied knowing that I made something for someone.

Insulting people is no way to initiate a debate. I can understand the point of view, but there is no need to spit on the intelligence of others, simply because they don't consider things the way you do...

I seriously don't get what this is about. And given both the username and the attitude this person shows, I don't think I care to. This isn't an image of someone who wants a debate or discussion.

To quote General Zod: "You are not alone"- in every existing human language, because there are fuck all who understand what this guy is trying to convey.

I think he's trying to say that he's mad about how the most popular manips are often low effort hypno conversions. I kind of would agree with that statement, but I also get that it doesn't always take effort to make something people will enjoy. And there's nothing wrong with that.
