Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 6 Thread
With DHMIS 6 due in about a week, I thought I'd bring this to the table so that we could get a little bit of buzz going before that day rolls around.

Do we have any DHMIS fans here? What do you think the series is leading up to in its final episode? And, most importantly, what is 'punish land'?

If any of you aren't up to speed on the current phase of theorization, watch through this playlist when you have the time (no pun intended): www.youtube.com/playlist?...NFGqrGJ7RpZOm1AcKhrOtmjPt

and this one: youtu.be/S81RdUBbzBA
are not included in the playlist but are extremely relevant

I adore this series. Terrifying but hilarious and quite imaginative to boot.

There are more than two of those?

...They're up to 6? Geez.

I liked the first one well enough. The second...didn't seem as good. One of those 'well this succeeded, so we'll keep churning it out' situations I guess. Not like you could blame someone for it, but the further additions rarely seem to reach the same heights as what spawned them. >>;

I don't really think they're "churning them out", considering the first came out five years ago and they had to start a Kickstarter to fund the final four episodes. And IMO, the three more that are out right now are pretty great. I feel like they took the formula and refined it, with more overarching aspects.

Actually 2 was commissioned by Channel 4, and 3-6 were kickstarted.

Good summarization, honestly, even though I've never watched Eraserhead aside from seeing a few clips because I CANT FIND A GOD DAMN COPY

<<www.criterion.com/films/28382-eraserhead?q=autocomplete|The Criterion Collection>> just released a brand spanking new Blu-Ray and DVD not too long ago, with a transfer approved by David Lynch himself and tons of extras.

Got my hopes up thinking it was out already.

Found a guy who did a pretty good job deconstructing the metaphors in the series and explaining everything in layman's terms.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh2PqxvWXNE That's his take on 5
