I'm pretty sure the Kaa scene in The Jungle Book got me into hypnosis. I used to watch it loads as a kid. It was never my favourite part but something to do with the swirly eyes always made me feel fuzzy. For the hypnosis thing, I think it started way back when, probably when I was about 5(I think?). I used to be huge into magic, including (though I didn't realize how or why at the time) the pretty magician's assistant who would end up being hypnotized before whatever death defying or mind blowing (hey, I was 5, gimmie a break) trick was about to happen. Got older, kinda forgot about it, then I remembered the series my parents used to tape for me since they knew I was into magic.

I ended up looking the show up again, you know see if anything in it held up, or if I was just a dumb kid. (The show was Breaking the Magician's Code, if you're interested. I think most of it is up on Youtube somewhere.) Anyways, the show was alright, but well... Found out about a fetish that night.

For me I think some early cartoons influenced it - I unfortunately can't remember much about the specifics ; I'm pretty sure that one episode (or couple of episodes) of Winx that had mermaid guardians being corrupted into mindless slaves or beasts or whatever contributed. There was also some ninja kids cartoon with people being hypnotized in a town, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was, specifically because I only saw the trailer and not the episode itself. Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School was also a big factor, as well as the MC focused Kim Possible episodes. I still remember an episode where a bunch of old people get mesmerized as part of Drakken's evil plan, and I remember feeling bummed out it didn't happen to any of the younger gals on the show. Then, pretty much by accident, I stumbled on "female possession" clips and channels on Youtube, and the rest happened from there.

My first real exposure to MC art and drawings would be JImryu's stuff that was posted mainly on e-hentai, and searching Deviantart for some MC artists (BrokenTeapot and ChaosCroc being the main ones I found at the time).
