I can't say I'm surprised, but rather saddened.

We all knew it was gonna happen. That and people getting killed because they walked right out into heavy traffic. There's a reason the game warns you to look up from your screen when walking around.

Well-lit, public places should be safe. Take a buddy or two if you feel nervous, but don't hide away just because a couple assholes want to ruin this experience for everyone.

There is case in polish social media where little girl (9 year old) approached 30-something old man to ask if he plays pokemon go.

Then if he didnt noticed how shady situation is looking, he would basically kidnap little girl to show her where he caught Rhydon. Luckily in last moment he noticed it miiight be good idea to make her ask her mom for permission.
