No, because her character exists solely to be in love with ash. And he doesn't care. Which is good, because he actually develops meabingful friendships with other characters and *gasp* doesn't have to fall in love with them. Then all of a sudden, serena comes along and *boom* "Ash omg i love you, i want your babies and stuff lawl"

From the like, 3 episodes of the X and Y anime I caught, she kind of seemed nothing like the in game character. I mean, she didn't have much OF a character, but I liked having this person who was trying to prove her strength and beat you, and constantly get sweeped was kind of fun.

Also that scene where she just gets rekt because you take both super items is priceless.

Honestly I find it a kinda cute ship. Also Serena has some really adorable moments, like when she pretended to be Ash in a battle, and I want to see more of her.
