Any fellow chilli heads?
Anyone else here a dedicated lover off all things hot and spicy?

I for one can't live with out spice and heat, I keep three bottles of ho sauce on hand at all times and use them regularly.

I also sometimes just take shots of the stuff just because.

What is your favorite brand?

For me it's El Yucateco, The Mayan and Black Label are my favorites, though the classic green is something I'll never turn down.

I love spicy food. That said, I can't really help you with which brand of hot sauce is best - I make it myself because it's fun and pretty easy to do and I can experiment with the recipe.

I've thought about making my own but I would probably make it far too hot to the point of making myself sick.

Meh. Unless you use like 10 habaneros per bottle it's not going to be a problem.

True, but a bit of stupidity about heat runs in the family, We tend to go overboard with it all the time.

Meh, you also taste while you're making it. If it's too hot, add more everything-except-peppers. And again, don't use like 10 peppers - the average habanero hot sauce is +- 5 peppers to a bottle, 6 if it's extra-hot. 10 is reserved for the novelty challenge ones, and anything with "special" peppers (rated above regular habaneros) are for YouTube video usage only.

Store brand hot sauces are all trash. I make homemade hotsauces now, easiest one is just buying a bunch of jalapenos, mush them up, and make a sauce with that.

I'll try it latter. Probably go with Habanero, they have the best heat and flavor to me.

I found a recipe for Habanero poppers that sounds good, I'll add bacon to the filling though.

There's a pretty good sweet chili sauce that I got from an asian market. Also Jang sauce is delicious.

I LOVE HOT FOOD!

*scarfs down a million boneless wings*

Don't have a particular favorite for sauce, as long as it's good!
