I'm very interested but i do want to see a few reviews and thoughts on it before I pay.
According to both Jim Sterling and NerdCubed it's...nothing like the trailers presented. Trailers made it out to be a Bioshock esque linear story based game.

Putting the gameplay aside, between the face paint/masks, the method of control, the change when controlled (in expression and overall) and the dark skinned British woman in full riding gear complete with crop, I am preemptively sold on any and all smut of it.
Absolutely convinced someone on the team has an MC fetish, the settings something Bastianmage would create if he ever did long form.
About the game itself, the setting, writing, themes and tone/atmosphere are spot on (the underlying horror makes the MC sexier to me, eh, que sera sera) though after seeing a preview I'm apprehensive if the gameplay will carry it. Basically, I'm excited fr the pitential, but I'll wait for the reviews.

Been following since it was first being mentioned many years past. Seems neat, and I reckon I might give it a shot, even if survival games aren't my jam.
Are there the multiple playable characters they talked about in the Kickstarter? Is that who "Riding Crop waifu" is?
Well, although they aren't exactly always a reliable source, Kotaku said its current early access version just isn't fleshed out enough to be worth buying yet, so I'm giving it a miss for now.

it isnt really mind control though, it's just very effective happy pills, and they take them by ((very misguided)) choice, they have free will, it's just they've chosen to deny the world of what it actually is and violently attack those who see the truth

I found a thread on /v/ a few hours after the early access version was released, and OP was complaining about how it was shit. I told them to read what the developer said about content in this version versus the final and then got laughed out of the thread
