Greetings people!

A while ago, several of us discussed having a Discord server for HypnoHub. Today, it's finally here!

The server is still under construction, but we've set up the required channels, discussions, and an IRC proxy, so you can directly chat with the hubians here from IRC!

We have anti-spam bots, too, and have other tools in the works. (For those who like Hibikini on the IRC, she's coming here too!)

In other words, you won't miss any kind of... Hypnotic discussion!

P.S. Any suggestions are welcome. We're considering a proxy to TL as well, depending on interest.

Two things I'm gonna point out now:
1. Miles already made a Discord server as basically the same thing. Although I'm not a part of it currently, still worth checking out
2. I'd warn you to not leave the link up for too long, as a 15 year old wandered into the server one day. I looked up "Hypnosis Discord" to find out the Hub's forum thread with the link invitation as the very first Google result as for how he managed to find it...

According to what you said, he did a general hypnosis Discord server, not a Discord only related to HHub, and I'm definitely sure it doesn't have the features we are currently cooking. Those are two different domains. Let's say it's just another way to communicate each other, like on Skype+Teamspeak, and easier to join, rather than waiting for someone inviting us.


Actually, HypnoHub is a NSFW board, and I'm totally aware of it. That's why we are going to make a rule to make people being able to join other channels ONCE a certain requirement is set. Don't worry, it was too on the works ^^ .

The rules have become less strict, allowing more stuff than the IRC's rules. Also, Penkspamming is now allowed to a certain extend (#penskam).

Also, considering the #hypnohub channel on IRC is totally dead those days, I've decided removing Hibikini, and the IRC proxy aswell. If you want her back, I'm sorry, but you'll have to migrate. We have (hypnotic) cookies, so it's okay :)

FOR ALL NEW USERS:
You have to write !agree on #welcome-rules in order to access the rest of the Discord. We did that, in case of there may be underaged people.

tried but it says i don't have permission to type in the welcome tab?

When i click the link it just takes me to my discord and i can't see the new server.

We've nearly reached 100 Hypnohubians out there! It's definitely the time to update the thread a bit regarding what we have done.

Hypno-upd@te, as of 25/09/2016!
• We've added Subject, Switch roles as a test. Role colors have also been modified.
• We've renamed Penkspamming to art-streamings to make it more neutral.
• Some adjustments regarding the roles have been done aswell.
• More vocal channels have been created. Some hypnotists could request a private channel, if they wish to.
• We removed the need for a mail verification in order to join us.

Again, we are currently trying hard to please everyone in this server. SFW, NSFW, we have little limits, as long as you respect the rules given in the document file.

Another update about this Discord Server. We are proud to currently have over 500 members! Keep being under for us, minions~ . @|

We are also currently going to port the chat page to here, as the IRC is really really empty. Thank you Vandril about it by the way!

Anyway... Nearly 8 months with updates and improvement, so we'll only bring here the most important ones.

► We also want you to know that we added a 10 minutes wait before being able to fully join the Discord server. We did that as a fool-proof verification. Mind us, we did see some people transgressing the server not only once, so consider it as a forced layer of protection. At least, you'll have the time to read the rules to understand, and most importantly, to enjoy this server best. (first post as a reminder)

We have been recently aware of new Discord guidelines. Even if we took care of any possibility regarding NSFW contents since its creation, we're still going to be extra-careful. As a result, we no longer accept the following:
- Promoting self-harm, suicide threats by ANY mean. If someone happens to encourage you to do it in private, do IMMEDIATELY report it to an admin or moderator, who will take care of the rest. Remember, you're not alone, we're all a family, ready to help.
- Anything related to gore pictures is leading to an immediate ban. No second chance. Nothing.
- About Loli/Shota pictures: after giving a poll, we are still accepting people posting these to the Discord server. However, we still DO NOT ALLOW it if that content is pornographic.

- Several updates have been done to the bot, to make it easier for people to understand and join.

[MAR/2017]
- We added an Artist tag.
- #art-streamings has simply been renamed to #arts. You can directly post, discuss, ask advices about your draws, and stream YOUR art!
