Saimin Inchou, the (more or less) sequel after sayori was to busy to draw anymore art for Staffing has been released. After being delayed two (or was it three?) times, it was released about 2 days ago in digital form. They also formed a new company name by the name of "include" instead of staffing, so you may have missed it (like I did in the past).

There are already rips of the art going around ( exhentai.org/g/970169/9b8c296602/ ).

For people not knowing, there are a couple of saimin eroge series that have been popular (depending on taste of course). These are Saimin Yuughi/Enbu (which the mentioned game is some kind of inofficial sequel of), the Saiminjutsu series and the Soushinjutsu series. There's usually a 1.5 to 2 year gap between games in that series, so having one of these come out is always a big deal.

Oh and before anyone asks, of course these games are only available in japanese, but you can get decent translation with atlas and chiitrans lite.

Major Game releases of any kind are not just "media news". Otherwise there would be no exchange, discussion going on. I take it most of us play video games and some play at least a couple of eroge related to our fetish. I could post an image and write the same in the comments, but I opted not to. So, from the first look I had they kept all the backgrounds from the first game and changed characters again (of course). Music seems to have changed as well this time around. What is more major is that instead of using tricks like flipping coins or waving a fan and really going into the art of induction slowly, they just replaced it with a phone app. That was one of the major draw points of the first 2 games. They were really into making the induction a big thing. I am pretty sure many people liked that and now that is gone.

I feel kinda bad, because I know that people here want the slow induction stuff, but this is what I actually prefer.

Not gonna lie, I expected that exact reaction from you specifically.

Looking at the released jpgs, they also seem to have less event specific art, though I still think the art is well done, but I liked sayoris better.

What they added seems to be that the girls resist more - at least the 2 main girls. Random girls are hypnotized instantly by the app, while the protagonist needs to use the phone a dozen times on the main girls to get them to finally do what he wants.

I just finished it and I have to say it is very middle of the road-ish. Nothing really excels in this game so in comparison to saimin yuughi and even saimin enbu, it is a rather disappointing game and takes a different approach than the two predecessors.

It does have a little more choice and different paths though, which is to be expected if they cut down the heroines to just 2, but that doesn't make up as a whole, because the new characters are by no means as good as the ones from saimin yuughi and even the protagonist pales in comparison to the first two games.

You may like it if you played the first two games and have nothing else to do, but to be frank, I'd just give this one a pass.

I don't think you can really call this a sequel of any sort to the other two games you listed, because the scenario writer is someone different from the first two games.

In my experience, most of the more 'acclaimed' works in this genre have been written by Octopus (vndb.org/s1512), although even his own style varies between games, and Saimin Yuugi/Enbu were two of only three games I've played where he focused heavily on the induction elements (the other being Saimin Jikken).

That explains a lot, I was about to post how there's basically no MC in that entire image set. It's at least 90% regular erogame cg.
