Questions about Sleepymaid
They're a bit of a mystery with the spotty archive, pictures appearing here out of thin air, an empty tumblr and so on. I was hoping someone who's been in the scene for a little longer could fill me in.

What's Sleepymaids history?

Is a full archive easily viewable (no downloads, not on ex-hentai)?

Where can I find fresh art?

And what the devil is Squid-Ops?

This is her website: sleepymaid.com/
This is her Picarto channel: picarto.tv/sleepymaid
All complete art is on the website. She has a Patreon but at the moment there are no scheduled updates.

Then why isn't the most recent hub pic there (it isn't showing up in the archive).

Are you referring to the collab with PChronos? That was an older picture. Sometimes people upload some commissions or streaming doodle that she doesn't save to the archive, but generally it's all there.

Also, Squid-Ops was a several-time aborted attempt at a webcomic by Sleepymaid.

She started work on it, did it for a while, for various reasons started to become slightly disenfranchised by her own work, deleted it, rebooted it, did it for a while, the same thing kinda slowly repeated itself, it ended on a cliffhanger with a "to be continued sometime" sorta update, and now the status of it is somewhat unclear now, to the best of my knowledge.

As someone that was sorta around to see the original version there were some moments of the original comic I thought were tremendously cute, and same goes for the second attempted reboot.. some VERY cute and sexy situations.

Personally, I hope it resurfaces someday, but that's just my thoughts.

Unfortunately, this makes two of my favorite webcomics by two different artists I greatly admire that are no longer viewable in their full or original forms, anymore. Sleepymai'd Squid-Ops and Vic Fieger's Dubmarine (the latter having no hypno content, just saying. But still great in it's own right.)

The original Squid-Ops (and consecutive reboots) *should* all be visible here.

I'd love to see more of this comic as well. I still hold out some sort of inane hope that Sleepymaid will either follow up on one of these versions, or create an amazing supercomic using many of her Squid Ops concepts combined.

Same goes for DHB's old Zelda comic, and Zko's Skypenotized. Those are still my top three favorite webcomics, even if Squid Ops and Song of the Mind haven't been updated in years.

So happy Zko keeps putting out new Skypenotized, though (and either nostalgia is messing with me, or every new page is just as amazing as the originals -- either way, I hope it never stops).

OH COOL. I really wanna go read through these again.

One thing that IMMEDIATELY grabbed my attention was that a large portion of Sleepymaid's concept involves the girls thoroughly hypnotized through most of the story to be oblivious to being in their underwear (or completely removed the concept of outer clothes inhibitions, if not that). Something that REALLY appeals to me, in a big, big way.

And as I look through these again, i'm finding it really, shall I say, quite enjoyable, to see this again.

In fact, i'm getting inspired to draw something right now >_> Multiple somethings, actually.

I'm reasonably sure DHB outright stated he has no intent to continue that comic, just sayin'. Seems like a fair few people really wanted it to continue though huh...

FOOL.

She begins every morning with a cup of coffee. She continues the day with afternoon tea. She begins her nights by changing into pajamas!

I think you may be right. Plus, I think his art style and tastes have developed, so any future sections of the comic would probably involve a bit too many stylized characters, urine, and scat to hold my interest.

Relatedly, one thing I really liked about Squid-Ops is that even though Sleepymaid has a known interest in dickgirls, they never included that in the comic. I think they maybe mentioned at one point that Squid-Ops takes place in a universe with only vagina-wielding females. That's obviously not for everyone, but I find comics with the more "real" body shapes/designs and more "real" hypnosis styles seem to be the ones I come back to.
