Interesting set up. I wish I knew the basic rules of establishing a CYOA myself.

Not that hard depending on how complex you want to make it. I'm keeping mine rather simple but I also have more of a set story in mind where this one gives a lot of choice right off the bat.

Internal balance is more important then anything else. Keeping all the costs of things roughly in line with the benefits they provide should be your number one priority.

The jumpchain thread has a guide for making this kind of CYOA. They probably won't accept because it's got implied lewdness though.
