now this may have been asked a thousand time already and if so i am so sorry, but i was wondering if this site had a white list option. so is to say white list an artist so that even if they post something that is in your black list it shows anyway?

In your blacklist, add "-artist_name" to all the lines of tags you still want their pictures to show up from. So, if you don't want to just see animals pissing themselves UNLESS it's drawn by the artist animal_pisser_42 because he draws it really well - but don't mind seeing animals pissing themselves if there's a person around, in any case - your blacklist would go from this:
animals_only urination
to this:
animals_only urination -animal_pisser_42
