Thoughts on commentors
I'd just like everyone to please think about this before you comment on ANY post.

You are getting awesome (mostly) hypno-related art/drawings/manips/etc. FOR FREE! on HypnoHub. Someone worked hard/paid real money to create something that they thought was erotic and wanted to share it with YOU. Whether it be for internet karmaz or getting off on the idea that they are making people they don't know cum, or just being an AWESOME person, I think that is a REALLY COOL thing for someone to be doing.

It really irks me that there are people commenting things like 'This is Horrifying/Bad/Terrible'. That really makes the person less likely to post something new! Who cares if you do not like it, there are probably people on this crazy earth who get off on things that you're not into, believe it or not. Just be a good person.

If you DONT like a post, DONT INSULT THEM! It's simple, just don't add it to your favorites, and be on your merry way

For example: I am personally not a big Furries person, but I will never talk poorly about someone's Furry/MyLittlePony art. SOMEONE (or many of you, apparently) really enjoy it! I will NEVER write something negative on an artists page, because it will keep them from making more art that their fans love!

Something I've learned from writing stories and commissioning pictures is that: You could have all the positive comments in the world, but the negative ones are really the ones that make you want to stop.

people have opinions. even if you dont like them, you must respect their decision to have those opinions

I can only support your opinion. And yes, people do have different opinions, but comments like "this is horrible/looks terribe" is not an opinion, it's an insult. Instead try to phrase it like "I don't really like this", something that is not as harmful.

That's what I'm saying. You can have any opinion you want, just don't say something mean to someone who worked on something and is giving it to all of us for free

Similar scenario
"Here are some brownies for everyone for free!"
"These are disgusting"
*no more free brownies for the people who liked them*

Not going to lock this yet since this is a valid point, but please edit your post to refrain from using any offensive phrasing like "don't say shit". It's against the rules to be disrespectful or offensive to any user, and since this seems to be directed at everybody, you should really refrain from using anything possibly insulting.

And I can only support your opinion. And yes, people do have different opinions, but comments like "this is horrible/looks terribe" is not an opinion, it's an insult. Instead try to phrase it like "I don't really like this", something that is not as harmful.

i do agree with what you are saying. while people can speak their opinions, it would be better for everyone if people tried to not be dicks while doing so.

Of course, the original post is still present because you quoted the whole thing, which is sort of an odd thing to do when working out you were addressing the OP isn't exactly difficult.

There was a phrase I saw once that went "For every one negative comment, it takes five or six positive ones to erase it." I do actually kind of agree with that.

I've been shocked by how many comments are really inconsiderate of the person who made it. And a lot of them completely ignore the content and zoom in on very minor things to criticise.

Particularly when it's someone's first upload, it's really disgusting to see them get shot down immediately.

So hugbox only?

This kills growth as putting out lazy work or just not pointing out problems just encourages no one to change or improve.

People are usually more forgiving of art than manips, which makes sense to me. The quality of the manip is directly compared to the quality of the art, which is usually pretty good. If you can't put enough care into your manips to not make them seem at least somewhere close to the art's quality, you should probably be ready for people to tell you your upload isn't very good. (I say this as a bystander, because I really don't care much for manips.

Yea the amount of flak I get for pointing out people NOT bothering to spellcheck or do basic proofreading their manip text is bizarre.

I mean it's not like it's hard to get a basic grammar check and spellchecking for it.
