Budding new artist with a set of images
Hi all !
I am the Mad Prince. I've been lurking for several years now (since 2014, if I recall correctly), and since I have no drawing talent of any kind, my "art" has limited itself to 3D images in DAZ studio. It occurred to me, after doing a few series, that some here might be interested in seeing what I usually do, so I decided to come out of lurking and actually post stuff. The first story is called "Tarala".
However, before I do that, I have a few questions. I already addressed them to Henry Killenger, but since it's been eight days and there hasn't been an answer, I believe the next best place to ask is here.
Firstly, concerning this very topic : is this okay ? I've read that you can't post about "exceptionally private" matters, so I'm wondering if an announcement like this is all right. The second question is concerning what I post. I usually do series of images, and long series at that, but even organizing them into chapters still leaves about twenty images per chapter. Is this too much ? Supposing I post twenty images every two or three days, does that leave enough space for other people ? In other words, I don't know how many images per pool are "allowed" ? I've recently seen a pool with maybe a hundred images, so I'm wondering what's okay here.
Lastly, let me just say that I'm going to post the first chapter as a pool, as soon as I receive an answer to these questions. If the reception is all right, I'll post the rest. If not, I'll concentrate on improving what I do. I welcome criticism as long as it's constructive. I won't prevent you from saying "This sucks ass", but I might not take it into account.
I think that's it. I hope we'll get along well together !

Multiple images are not refused, so long as the images or the series meet the hub rules. What usually gets asked is that uploaded stagger uploading, or only tag 2 or 3 images in the set to be indexed, linking the rest as a pool, so as to minimise flooding the front page. The indexing controls what comes up on the front page, though the non-indexed images will still show against your uploads, or in a pool. It's an idea that indexed images show hypnotic stuff

Am interested to see what another Daz Studio user is doing :)

Oh, okay. I got it, I'll only tag a few images then.
Thanks :)

Just to clarify, it's not the image tagging, but that, once the image is uploaded and on the hub, you can go back and edit settings, including a tickbock labeled "Shown in index"

You should still tag the images using the tagging system
