As some of you may be aware. Some anime/tv shows will have more than 1 dub. For example for the english dub of One Piece their is the 4kids dub and the Funimation dub. It dosen't stop there either other animes like Salior Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and many more also have multiple dubs. I'm a huge fan of anime and I really like the hypnosis/mind control scenes. I was hoping some of you guy might could help me track down some of the different dubs (especially the ones with hypnosis). For example the anime Kaichou wa Maid-sama! has 2 dubs in english and in episode 14 their was a hypnosis scene. I have scene that scene in both dubs but I think you guys/girls get the jest of what I'm trying to say. There is a company called Animax that has actually dubbed alot of anime in english. They have dubbed Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Fairy Tail ect. and all of them have a hypnosis scene in them. By the way It dose not have to be exclusive to the english language or anime (however i would prefer atleast subtitles if possible). For example the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been dubbed in japanese as well as italian and it has some hypnosis scenes too. So basicly in short I would like to make this thread a place where we all can find different voices to our favorite hypnosis/mind control scenes in animation.

Though I know this isn't the point of this thread, some knowledge for you. Animax makes English dubs for English-speaking parts of Asia. They often dub a lot of anime before they ever get official North American English dubs, and some series that never get picked up in NA at all. While I've never watched any of them, I hear that their quality varies wildly, with some dubs being perfectly watchable and others being on par with English-dubbed hentai. Fun fact, though, when a North American anime licensing company recently re-released the Card Captor Sakura series, they also got the rights to use the Animax dub, as it's the only English dub that was not severely edited (and presumably, they didn't have the money to make an all new dub like Viz did with Sailor Moon and Funimation is doing with Escaflowne).

Oh, and hey, Escaflowne has an episode with hypnosis in it too, so... I guess this did come around to being relevant.

I already knew that about Animax. I have seen a few episodes by Animax but not many. I can never find an entire series dubbed by them. By the way to be honest most of thier dubs sucks. However I would still like to see them (or atleast thier dubbed versions of episodes with hypnosis in them/maybe some of my favorite ones too). The only reason I didn't dive deeper into the company is because I was trying to keep my post short or atleast shortish lol. However I didn't know that about Card Captor Sakura the more you know I guess lol. Also thank you for telling be about the funimation re-dub of Escaflowne. I didn't realize it was getting re-dub I will have to check out the new dub :).
