Looking for sound files for Audacity.
Hey everyone, Waverun here. Apologies for not posting alot of manips in a long time, I've just been living life.

Good news is in a couple weeks I'll be getting a new drawing tablet and Photoshop Elements 15, but for right now, I'm just going to stick with Gimp.

Anyway, I'm kind-of in the middle of trying to find some hypnosis sounds for the Audacity sound program.

I need your help to find them though. The only thing close to what I was looking for was a vibraphone sound on Pond5, and what I'm looking for are some cartoonish sound effects like something that sounds like...
like...
Best way I can describe it is it sounds like something repeatedly changing tone and/or pitch from very high to very low extremely fast, like something you would see out of a cartoon.

Like a harp or a vibraphone doing so, or, whatever it was that made that sound you hear that sounds like someone is wobbling back and forth about to pass out.

Anyway, reason I'm looking for sounds like this is because I'm planning to listen to them in Audacity after I've modified them.

Anyone got any idea of what I'm talking about in regards of sound effects or something?

Good to hear things have been good for you! Off the cuff I'd recommend looking for bell (that classic jungle book ping) or water dripping sounds. If you want something musical, you might find a sample here: www.philharmonia.co.uk/explore/sound_samples
I'll come back if anything else occurs to me.
Best of luck to ya!

It sounds like you're rather seeking for a DAW or tracker with the ability to generate a sound than fiddling with a loop in AudaCity.

Take a look at LMMS (lmms.io/) or Psycle (psycle.wikia.com/wiki/Quick_Tutorial)
