As it says in the title, looking for some players for some shadowrun 4e. Have 2-3 slots open if people are interested and new players are welcome. No specific times set up yet so go ahead and post character ideas and general interest.

Hello. Well, I'm interested, and from what I can understand from what I read, I would like to play a female Troll character with an emphasis on either ranged combat, or hand-to-hand (If possible). For the hypno realed stuff (If that's allowed), I was thinking of having a chip implanted that makes me act robotic on command. :)

I might be interested, although I have no idea how Shadowrun really works, although I do have experience with DnD 3.5e, 4e, and Pathfinder, and something something don't get in combat and lots and lots of d6s to roll.

Basically you've got the right of it. Combat can be brutal, but as for not knowing the rules, that's fine.

Have there been any major changes since 3rd Edition? Say, to things like the applied simsense rules (brainwashing and all sort of fun ways one might abuse BTL chips)?

As far as the change goes 4th edition really mixed it up with the rules. A bit of simplification as well as some new stuff

Also seeing as how there's so much interest and only a few spots, I'll determine who's in at 10 Eastern.
