I kind of feel bad for the hypnotist. Sounds like they just brought him on the show to laugh at him and when he realized that no one was taking it seriously he rage-quit. I especially squirmed uncomfortably at the end when they were more or less ordering him to "snap them out of it" when he knew they were faking anyway.
