Guys, help, I didn't even have a thing for Peter Quill until Ego brainzapped him and he started with the blankly agreeing with every statement. FUCK ME, RIGHT

(My partner was sitting next to me, and they just glanced over at me all smug like "Are you having a problem?" because they know that kind of shit gets me squirmy.)

Also, anyone else think Mantis has some interesting potential?

I really liked the eye effect in that scene too.

I have a friend who is incredibly easy to drop. When she saw the movie she actually dropped when Mantis put Drax to sleep and had to be snapped out of it.

Thank you SO much for this heads-up. I still feel dirty and weird about watching that live-action Jungle Book with my parents and getting so turned on by the snake >.> And let's be honest, Chris Pratt is already a pretty good looking guy (not to mention funny as well)... I can already feel my face reddening just imagining it Q.Q

I really like that scene because not only is there the super-hot Chris Pratt brainzap, but also Ego emotionally punching you in the gut with what he says next.

I just love the bait and switch.

DVD is set to come out in September... I don't know if I can wait that long. The more I read here, the more I want - and that's just ONE SCENE! Without plot spoilers even! (At least none that I know.)
