Admin help, please
Hi, guys. So I am Verenpunainen Kuningatar, the artist responsible for hypnohub.net/post/show/49...ation-black_hair-blue_eye (although whoever uploaded this failed to full screen to get the version without artifacts and a transparent background so that looks a bit worse than it is)

First of all I want to say I am sorry and I am not trying to cause any drama, nor am I really familiar with how this site works as I only visit in lurking on a casual basis, and to some extent I am even flattered my art is thought of as good enough to post somewhere. I am however, a bit disturbed my art were posted here without my permission. I always add an obvious "Please do not repost" on my art in the art itself which you can see and additional text reading;

"(Do not redistribute, alter, claim, or use this art in any way without the express consent of the artist

Älä jaa, muuta, omi tai käytä tätä taidetta missään muodossa ilman taiteilijan lupaa

Reblogs and likes are always hugely appreciated, though!

This art is © Verenpunainen Kuningatar 2017)"

which I guess the person posting either missed or is flat out disrespecting me.

Either way.. the fact of the matter is in the nicest way I can put it without beating around the bush, if I want my art somewhere, I will post it there myself. And at the moment and foreseeable future, I really do not think I want my art or myself associated with this website and its community for my own personal reasons.

For that I have flagged the art and I am not sure who to contact to get it taken down?

If I ever decide in the future that I want for whatever reason to try to be a part of this community, I will post my art myself, probably from this account. In the meantime if you like my art, feel free to send me a private message and I can give you my tumblr and FurAffinity link where I do post my art.

Thanks and sorry again. I am trying to be as civil as possible.

Well, I'm not an admin myself, but I checked the post in question, and the source link provided there to the original, and it does look like it's horribly artifacted compared to the source, and that the "Do not repost" part has been tampered with in an attempt to make illegible (not certain on that, however, as the slight illegibility on the post of it here on the hub could be due to the aforementioned artifacting.)

Everything you said seems to check out to me, but it's still up to an admin as to what happens.

Looking back at the post here, the use of "view larger version" gets rid of the illegibility, meaning it was due to artifacting.

You have to press "full view" in order to get rid of the artifacts - it is a transparent background. Otherwise the artifacts are left because it was saved before doing full view.

The website compresses the images in some weird way or something.

Not an admin either, but I'm sure when one finds this they'll act quickly, it's one thing to use random images off the internet for manips without explicitly seeking out the original artist and getting permission (sometimes finding the original can be difficult and all with how images get spread around the internet), but when the image has a "hey don't use this image for your own ends" message literally on the image itself that's definitely not alright.

And the uploader clearly saw the message since it looks like they tried to blot it out... so they have no excuse.

I am not sure whether that is attempted tampering or just the artifact from saving it incorrectly. But, yeah.. it does seem with all my disclaimers and requests for respect that they probably willfully disrespected me, which is a shame.

It is obvious that there was no deliberate attempt to obfuscate the 'do not repost' message.
It's just a byproduct of the site's png to jpg conversion method, and not something the uploader would have had any control over, even if they wanted to.

Not that it matters, in the grand scheme of things...

Yeah - that was my initial thought as well. Although that still leaves the question of how they could 'miss' my disclaimers and requests for respect?

I've deleted the post in question. I hope all are satisfied with this. If you have anymore requests or are in need of further assistance, please PM me or another admin. I'll leave it up to a forum admin whether this thread should be locked now or not.

Well, it's down now as I'm seeing this. To avoid future cases of this happening [or at least getting the userbase on the same page in terms of getting it corrected quickly] you're probably best off DMing dreamshade or vanndril to get added to the 'do not post' list.

Direct Mail. Look at someone's profile and there is the option to send them a message

Excellent question, I don't actually remember why it's a 'D', but it's just the hub's private message system. You'll see a 'send message' option at the bottom of the page if you click on someone's username, or 'my mail' from the drop down menu of 'my account' which is at the top of the page always.

See literally every other site I've ever been to says 'PM' for private message/private mail. xD

Whisper, tell, or private message would make more sense. Yeah.
