Black list questions

1) can + and - work with blacklist?
eg

fart -darkhatboy = should black list all pics with fart tag unless they contain darkhatboy tag

malesub +solo = should blacklist only if pic has both malesub and solo tags

2) if yes, can you do a chain of them?
eg

fart -darkhatboy -disgustinggirl_(manipper) = all fart unless it has either of the other 2

malesub +solo -transgender = all malesub with solo unless it has transgender

diaper +scat +malesub = only blacklists if it has all 3 tags

On first one, my_little_pony -kanashiipanda works.

Just tried it. The short answer is yes.

However instead of using a '+', just put the next word in the same line. So for example in the blacklist:

* tejina_senpai <- blacklists all images with the tejina senpai tag.

* tejina_senpai blush <- blacklists all images with tejina senpai AND blush. Does not blacklist images with ONLY tejina_senpai or ONLY blush.

* tejina_senpai blush -brown_hair <- blacklists all images with tejina senpai AND blush, UNLESS it also contains brown hair. Will not work with anything else.

I would like to caution to probably not make them too complicated or long though, the blacklist has been known to by screwy.

Yeah, '+' characters are probably just ignored, I'd imagine.

great stuff! more questions....

1) would having multiple lines work, or screw up?
eg

malesub -crossdressing
malesub -transgender

= allows only malesub pic that have either crossdressing or transgender?

2) does the exclusion work on both sides, or is that too complex?

yaoi -femdom transgender

= allows yaoi if it has both femdom and transgender?

This would not work, I believe. This is basically telling the blacklist system to block malesub pics that don't have crossdressing AND block malesub pics that don't have transgender. I believe in this situation, all malesub pics would be blocked unless they have both. There's no way that I know of to make an "x or y" exclusion.

For that, it should be "yaoi -femdom -transgender". You have to put the - before each tag that you require be included.

Based on my programmer's intuition and a quick test, it seems to be the other way around: "malesub -crossdressing -transgender" blacklists pictures that have the tag malesub and neither of the tags crossdressing or transgender.

And similarly, to allow yaoi if it has both femdom and transgender, put in "yaoi -femdom" and "yaoi -transgender" on separate lines. Well, that one was a bit harder to test since there are currently no pictures on the site with all three of those tags, but the basic idea works.
