I've heard this movie was a big let down (shocker, a bad Stephen King film) though it looked like it had real potential. I've heard McConaghey's character has some Killgrave like powers. Anybody who seen the movie know if there are worth while?

Essentially Walter ,The Man in Black, is shown to be able to make people do stuff by telling them to. For the most part unless you're into killing probably not your thing. The most common command he gives is telling people to stop breathing, where upon they do and they die, and tells a person to burn and then they catch fire. Actual mental influence there's an iffy scene where he tells to people to kill eachother in a dinner and they start fighting and then he tells the others in the diner to just enjoy the show, and a scene where he says hate while walking past a little girl talking with her mom and she starts looking at her mom like she wants to kill her.
