Phone or Tablet computer?
This isn't hypnosis related (or maybe a little), but the "movies you just watched" thread exists also. Once again if this isn't allowed that's fine XD.

Anyway...

I own, use and view Hypnohub on a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. For reference, today it costs only $110 Canadian to get one. I have had this phone for over a year and it's finally showing it's age. The graphics aren't great, messages are slow, I get random error messages all the time, etc, which leads me to consider a phone. Enter my current best option, the Samsung Galaxy 8 (S8?) for close to $650 Canadian.

I have about $1750 in the bank from working a minimum-wage job, Christmas and birthday money (I just had nothing I wanted to buy until now).

But at the same time I could purchase a flip tablet (the ones that are computers with clip on keyboards) and do my work (and browsing of this site) from there.I just don't know how expensive it is or how much I would use it. I currently own a slow C-grade Acer laptop that is hardly even opened (it might be broken because it seems unnaturally slow).

TL:DR - New phone or better computer? I would only choose one. And has anyone tried one of those keyboard tablets before, or used the new Samsung S8? I would really like some opinions!

And if this doesn't belong here I'll delete it ;-)

Hey don't worry about the topic, hell I made a "What's your favorite ice cream flavor" thread xD

Anyways personally I'd say computer since I personally feel you might be able to get more out of it

Personally I'd look at: What'll break sooner. If your phone is acting odd but your computer is relatively fine then I'd go with the phone. BUT if you need the computer for school and the pc is slow and unstable, then go with pc. It's basically what has a higher priority

You own Hypnohub? o.o :P

On topic, I never had any of this flip tablets but I heard the new Surface series from Microsoft should be good.
I'm good with my HTC 10 and my desktop computer at home but I don't know your preference if you want to stay mobile or have something at home if you want to play games etc.

Didn't expect so many responses!
The basis of it is that I'm going to need a new phone sooner or later, but my laptop is hardly used. The reason I'm considering is that if I get a more accessible computer (/tablet) I may use it more and my phone less... Still debating.

A friend of mine owns one of those new windows tabs, it runs pretty smooth, but costs a lot.
Meanwhile another bro just got the Samsung Galaxy A1 and loves it (upgraded from an S6). I have one of the oldest phones in my friend group XD

If you're going for a new phone, do take a look at some other brands as well. Samsung's great, but so's Motorola or Huwaei or Cat if you're more the outdoorsy or clumsy type. Some of them might have the same specs that matter to you and be cheaper in the end :)

That said, I would vote for tablet computer - even if mostly I just want one myself. They're awesome!! Plus I use an s3 tablet to browse hypnohub... bigger screen, still portable.
