I do not want to look like a whiner; I know the ads are there to help pay for the site. But one of the ads is bugging me more every time I see it. The "18 and abused" one specifically.

Is there any way to reject specific ads? And if so, can that one be taken off? It kind of makes me uncomfortable seeing a picture of a girl being strangled to the point of discoloration right in the middle of my screen as soon as the site loads.

I think most people here use Ad block plus. I'm glad I do. Something like that would bother me more than a little too.

Yeah, I know ads are a way of revenue for the site and that we are a fetish site and like, but personally I really don't like that one in particular. I'd support getting that one out if its possible and not much of a problem, but if not I'll just try ignore it.

I try to keep my mouth shut about the ads, since I have nothing to do with them, but I think it's a shame that some of our ads are so... disturbing. I'm guessing that, because of the content on this site, those are probably the only sites willing to advertise here.

I see, I hadn't thought of that. I don't really get why anyone would use a browser so inconvenient for something like going to site like this. I, personally, use Google Chrome which works great with Ad Block. What is everyone else using?

I understand if you don't have any control over what ads are shown, mindwipe. I don't want to make a big fuss about it, but thought I would mention it incase there did happen to be an easy way to remove it.

@lilly: I use maxthon, I got a redirect virus that I can't seem to get rid of a while back and ended up going with the bandaid solution of using a browser it isn't compatible with until I can fix it. xD

Honestly? I'm using a phone browser to see this site. I don't have internet at my home, so this is the next best thing. And hey: what might seem inconvenient for you might be more convenient for others. Why switch to a whole new browser you might not understand just to block the ads that fund the site? (not saying it's a bad idea, just offering another way to look at it)

Then again, there's the content of the ads to think about too, like the one we're complaining about. Sadly, as Mindwipe said, these might be the only advertisers we can get here, so might just have to deal with it. Unless Slayerduck can talk to the advertisers himself

if someone wrote a virus that can learn on it's own, google redirects will be the least of our worries.

The last few days, I noticed that same picture, it really bothers me, usually the whole abuse thing doesn't bother me too much(because its probably all consentual, and I can filter it out as a result), but because the person in the picture reminds me of one of my estranged relatives :(. So if you do pursue changing that ad, I will support you.
