So with the year closing out and the recent Video Game Awards, I think it'd be cool to see what you guys think was the best game of the year~

So tell me, what do you think were the best games of the year?

Because I’m a scrub who doesn’t play anything outside FPS games and fighting games, my #1 this year was Injustice II.

P5 and Nier because those were the only games I played this year.
Got quite a bit more music on my phone now.

Only scrubs play without a grid!

Also, Persona 5 and FNAF Pizzeria Simulator, even though I can only watch lets plays...

Nier Automata was probably my game of the year. Not just because it's an amazing game but because i'm glad Yoko Taro finally got his big break and received the mass praise he deserves. The man is a precious cinnamon roll.

Yeah no but seriously breath of the wild

Breath of the Wild and Sonic Mania were top contenders. Sadly, I didn't get to try all the games I would have liked to.

Hard to say. Been a good year! BOTW and Persona 5 were both fantastic but I think Neir:a and Danganronpa v3 edge them out with some amazing stories. Both of them are going to stick with me for a loooong time. Also a maybe lesser known one Opus Magnum managed to appeal to my programmer side and the side of me that likes to see machines work. REALLY got it's claws into me

This might be a little unfair of me, as I'm currently playing it and haven't finished it yet, but my favourite game of this year is probably Yakuza 0,

Oh yeah, I wanted to play that.
Looked good but never got around to it.

I'd definitely say Breath of the Wild or Samus Returns. So many great games this year.
