hypnofetish philosophy
here's a place where you post philisophical thoughts on hypnofetish. for instance

if one is fully corrupted, are they not just a different kind of pure?
bimbofication and stepfordization isnt really worth it if you factor in skill losses.
are we human? or are we trancers?

Having a harem sounds nice, until you realize you have to feed all of them, and chances are they aren't mentally fit enough to go out and get jobs for themselves

and also probably listed as missing persons, now that I think about it.

Can't get in trouble if you brainwash everyone into loving and adoring you.

"Officer, I know this looks bad, but why don't you start masturbating to the idea of me enslaving people?"

If someone with the power to mind control everyone in the world used their power to stop conflict, end world hunger, poverty, etc in exhange for no one having free will would that be a bad or good thing?

If someone is so trances that they feel unending pleasure when serving their master, is it more cruel to free them or to let them continue serving?

It's more cruel to let them go.

Now that you mention it, I recall this being the motivation of the villain in the Order campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. Incidentally, it's probably my favorite alongside the Death campaign because they both deal in opposing the extremes of those very same philosophies.

Rant:
As for an answer, to me, taking away someone's free will "for the greater good" is the height of evil as it reduces humans to mere machines, ultimately killing off what truly makes us human. All that we are, and all that we have, is the result of uncountable generations acting in the interest of either themselves or whatever they chose to devote to, be it family, country, God, science, etc.. To have someone else decide for us what that thing is to be is so against our nature as to entirely deny it.
And yes, I'm aware systems like conscription are a thing (hell, I live in a country with one), but I'm not so foolish as to not know why it's there. No ideology survives contact with reality. However, you still have the choice to disobey or leave if you're dissatisfied with things, something the hypothetical Mind Control Utopia by definition wouldn't allow as:
a) You've no free will, therefore you have no choice to disobey or leave
b) You've no free will, therefore you cannot feel dissatisfied
Rant over.

Now, for my own little question (not that I really expect an answer, but hey, since I'm here and have been pondering it for a bit for my personal amusement already):
Is love achieved by mind control means any less real than "true" love?

What if said mind control was used only to instill an unbreakable series of laws within the minds of the controlled populace, and they were otherwise free? Would it be wrong to forcibly disallow a populace from committing only actions that would objectively harm society?

I'd probably take in girls and boys who were suicidal and have them work out a cover story, while making sure they get plenty of friends and plenty of fun, while keeping their personalities intact beyond absolute loyalty to me (loyalty, not obedience) and each other, as well as a passion for gaming so that they would fill my guild ranks. And have them work on a cover story. Like they met me the rest on a polyamory meetup they went in because they were desperate for attention and me and the rest actually listened to their life stories. (Which we would actually have done.)
