Subtle/Tricky Methods of Hypnosis

Hey there,
This may be a weird question to ask, but does anyone know anything about more subtle/tricky methods of hypnosis? I'm not talking about hypnotizing someone without their consent of course. I'm talking more about clever ways to hypnotize the subject without them seeing it coming, or creative ways outside of the standard methods of induction.

Yeah, confusion is one of my favorites as well. My mind is pretty noisy, and confusion seems to quiet me down for a bit.
