Trying to start drawing.
Hi everyone~! I'm trying to start drawing for hypno-hub and I don't know where to start. Anyone here ever use a mouse to draw? Cuz, like, I need some tips.

I don't recommend using a mouse. Just pencil/pen, paper, and some decent subject matter to start out (such as outside at a park or in a cafe). Start with that, eventually then move on to drawing stuff you want to draw, but keep using proper references*, else the subject may come out very distorted.

*I recommend mostly real objects/people/things. Try not to solely copy other people's art/style instead, as it may distort your perception of how to draw certain things properly.

A mouse is simply not a drawing tool, maybe for pixel art it can be used but drawing it can't possibly mimic how a drawing tablet works. Even then if you're starting out drawing, I would advise against learning on a drawing tablet, better off starting at the basics with old fashioned pencil and paper.

my best advice would be to not use a mouse. Unless you plan on doing vector art, or pixel art, a mouse is certainly not recommended. Do you have a scanner? Perhaps you could try some physical art and scan it in, then do some touch ups

There's a printer in the room next to mine, so, yeah, I can use it.
