Hey everyone. Been lurking for a very, very long time. Long story short, I've started delving into hypnosis games! However, my question is, which hypnosis VNs portray the fetish well? I pose this question primarily because of how wonderful saimin yuugi/enbu are with how much respect is given to actual inductions and creative/fun suggestions.

Outside of Yuugi/Enbu, does anyone have any recommendations for games that do something clever with hypnosis? I've heard decent things about saimin IInchou and saimin Jikken. Lune also seems to pump out hypnosis games fairly frequently but I'm a little skeptical as to their overall quality. Anything that goes beyond hypnosis being used solely as a crutch for the protag to fuck people is a step in the right direction.

The Lune games aren't what you're looking for. The hypnosis is essentially magic, and is used for sex. I wasn't terribly impressed with Saimin Iinchou, the scenes felt sort of lacking, and I don't recall much ,ore than hypnosis being used for sex in that one either. There are some interesting things like changing the school uniform, but after the one or two scenes about that it basically gets ignored and they don't do a good job of showing mass hypnosis. The Saiminjutsu series is pretty good, although Re has a hefty dose of NTR elements that are easily avoided, but take up a large amount of the content. Which is okay if that's your thing I guess, but it doesn't do it for me. Saimin Hitozuma 3P actually has some pretty nice scenes, but there are plenty of times where they forget the visual part of the novel, and things I would have liked to see get described without any images to go with them.

You should definitely check out Daisaimin and the Soushinjutsu series.

While Daisaimin just has a bunch of really erotic scenarios with a lot of different ideas, the Soushinjutsu series has not only that as well, but also a story that combines all their games together and is actually not bad.

I also rather like the Battle Ranger series. Basically you are an evil overlord that enslaves and brainwashes girls in Power Ranger armor, then have them face off each other.

There are also the classics Gakuen Saimin Reido and Saimin Gakuen, both of which received an anime adaption. The games are much better in my opinion, because they changed almost all of the scenarios to something else, so its worth to check out.

I also really like those, but Daisaimin does have a fair amount of scat in it, with at least one scene in all but one of the routes. So I guess watch out for that if that's a turn off.

That's not the game - and like most good VN's, you will have to use ITH/AGTH, Atlas and/or Google Translate in Translation Aggregator to use Machine translation for it. The Name I have is 神剣戦隊ブレイドレンジャー and is distributed by MAIKA. You should have an easy time finding it.

I only know one VN that I ever finished, and that was "Seduce Me" aka "Seduce Me the Otome". You play as a girl who one day finds a bunch of incubi. You get to pursue relationships with them in which you may or may not have sex (consent is important, but you get to willingly subject yourself to the control) and the mind control is actually very subtle, almost unique to every boy (or if you play your cards right -- girl!) That said, Damien is my favourite <3 Also hands down the most romantic sex scene!

There is a second game in which you get to choose who you ended up with of the boys in the previous game, but I nevef got really into that one because it feels 8x more complex than the first one ^^; plus I'm fairly sure you can fuck just about anyone in that one, which is weird given the plot starting point...

I'm not too into long induction scenes, but I can confirm that as its predecessor, Saimin Jikken is basically just more Saimin Yuugi. It places about the same amount of attention to inductions and follows the same kind of story progression.

As for something "clever" with hypnosis, I'd recommend Studio Triumph's Inwai Saimin Seitaiin ～Bitch na Onna wo Seijun ni Jinkaku Henkan Massage～

It's the third game in a series about a sketchy therapist who uses hypnotic massages to corrupt women into his sex slaves. What makes this one interesting is that the heroine is a completely shameless slut to begin with which he has zero interest in. However, she keeps pestering him in an attempt to extort money from him so on a whim he decides do the opposite of his usual routine and turn her pure and maidenly by gradually erasing all her sexual knowledge.

For just some quick general fun with MC without it just being an instant sex mechanic I'd reiterate the Soushinjutsu recommendations from above. IMO, Soushinjutsu 3 and 0 are the best games in the series, but I found the overarching story interesting enough to play through them all. Denpa no Dorei(also by Studio Jyaren) is also pretty decent and is one of my favorites.
