What the hell-fuck is this site? It's a website made by someone with a tenuous grasp on the English language, that uses its own currency instead of just money, and apparently there's not even a guarantee the artist does your picture?

Is there any way to just contact this guy and go 'hey, here's 60 bucks or whatever, I'd like this drawn'?

Shall I reveal the secret to commission people on Whentai ? Or should I keep it to myself so you don't make the artists I wanna commission busy ? =p

It's a bit confusing at first, but yeah basically you need to buy their currency, then go to the commissions page, write your idea, "set" the price and "tag" the artist(s) you would prefer.

Also don't forget to "unclick" the "Allow additional details by other users" so other people CAN NOT add things to your commission.
Then you wait for a moment. Several artists might propose to work on your piece, you just select the one you want, and that's it.

Note, however, that artists can ask for a higher price. Inusen, for example, can be surprising about that. @_@

Of course you can still send a private message to the artist to ask if you could commission him outside of the site, especially considering the stupid limitations it has.
I can already tell you that Inusen DON'T take commissions outside of it. ^^

Many artists, if not all of them, who draw porn will draw sfw stuff.
