Flash Gordon would make a great Crimson Cosplay. So many mind control moments in that movie and a surprising amount of femdom and malesub in it too, I think General Kala awoke something in me.

But who would be who?

Crimson can be none other than Flash, same coloured hair, same bland protagonism (I jest!)

With the namesake and similar hypnotic power, its a no brainer, Mesmistress is Ming. No matter how much I want to see Imasuky in a sexy version of that outfit and I think their characters would gel (Mesmistress and Ming do too, but thats beside the point), oh well she can be Lo Pan further down the track.*

Oops got sidetracked, anyway I guess I'll assign the rest characters even though the further down we go, the more prohibitively expensive it becomes...

Jaclyn is either Dale Arden or Princess Aura depending on if she's dom or sub in this scenario

Imasuky is either Zhukov (best boy) or General Kala (best girl) for the same reasons

Darkhatboy/girl can only be General Klytus

If Jaclyn and Imasuky are dom then Gemna is Dale and Riley is Zhukov

Sorry to Ami, Amy, Chisty, Trippy and all of the other wonderful OCs in the CEU (Crimson Extended Universe), I'm about spent. However, any/ all of you can of course be Brian Blessed or Timothy Dalton or their cohort and you all get priority for the Big Trouble in Little China sequel.

Boy, I really hope you guys are fans as well/this entertained some of you because I've accidentally sold myself on this idea and put too much thought into it for my own good. Maybe I'll comm (some of) it one day. If anyones got alternate takes on who's who I'm all ears, its a fun thought exercise.

Yeah, maybe it's cringe to some, but I had fun thinking it through and if at least one other persob gets a chuckle out of it or it convinces someone to watch Flash Gordon for the first time, then it was worth it.

I love coming up with different ideas for preexisting stories i.e. games, comics, tv shows, etc. It doesn't matter if it's from an existing story or if it's my own idea but I will perform extensive research to make sure every detail is just right.

It's a lot to go through for a simple idea in my head that will never see paper.

I've only seen the movie with Von Sydow as Ming, but speaking as someone who secretly wants to brainwash the world into enjoying silent cinema, I'd feel like kind of a hypocrite if I didn't give the classic series a shot now

I should clarify that I'm talking specifically about the 1980 film version, which everyone should watch at least once, which'll be enough for some, others will want to get intoxicated and watch it 9 more times.

General Kala has this whole Oriental Space Nazi Domme thing going on that shouldn't work but does, she's in charge of the mad scientist style brainwashing. Then there's also a hypnotic ring, scantily clad subjugated peoples of every race and creed, the leading woman/love interest getting inducted into a harem, said harem/s girls, a bratty femme fatale who seems to spend the entire movie in a jewelled bikini, a dungeon and a main character who wears a shirt with his own name emblazoned across the front. Fun for the whole family.

It's referenced fairly heavily in Con-Fused by HMB along with a bunch of other classic MC, if you want to check out some hypno-smut kind of featuring it. Its behind a paywall but can be found around the place.
