I thought maybe it doesn't have any hypnosis per se. So, forgive me for asking, but does mindbreak through non-hypnotizing means (as shown in this comic) count?

Mind break is a bit of a sketchy one. In a lot of cases it comes down to how it ends up presented instances like that where it seems to just have been physical torture or rape until the person ends up insensate tends to be a no for a lot of people here.

Though ones where it isn't as clear that cases like what you linked are going on, tend to get by better especially with a bit of manipping.
