Hey everyone, I was a little reluctant to make this thread because it comes off as a bit redundant but I'd like you to hear me out.

To be blunt I'm not really interested in any of the requests in the <<hypnohub.net/forum/show/111?page=1|General Manip Request Thread>>. Well aside from the text manip requests but I like to pair text with a fitting image and I wasn't really feeling many of the ones there. It's not that I believe any of those images are bad for manips. It's just that I don't find them challenging and to be honest I'm not sure why they're on the request thread.

What I mean is, most of those requests are likely for something simple, like an eye edit. Empty eyes, whitewash eyes, spiral eyes, glowing eyes, etc; all of which can take as little as ten minutes to do and are very easy once you learn how. From my point of view, it's one thing if you aren't able to access an image editor but otherwise people should be more willing to take on their own requests. That's just the way I see it. I don't mean to offend anyone.

This is my primary reason for making a request thread for more complicated manips. The type of manipping that I like to do is a little more time consuming and tedious than what most others here are willing to do. I've come to understand and accept this over time. So I've decided to make this thread for people who want manips that require more work than the standards.

Just three rules for this thread:
1.) Be Patient 2.) Be Realistic 3.) Be Respectful

I think those are pretty self-explanatory so I won't bore you all anymore. I know there aren't a lot of manippers willing to take on these sorts of requests yet but I'm still hoping this thread gets some use. So thank you all for the future requests.

I'm game. Just be sure to allow time for me to complete the work. I have done complex decensors, gender switching, expressions, and props before. I'll tell you up front if I think I can take on a challenge - but I will only bite on a really good source and idea.

Sure, I'm down for this. I've done a handful of "advanced" manips in the past (changing poses, expressions, etc.) Can't promise I'll do them regularly, but it sounds like a fun challenge.

This looks... well, fun, just like everyone said it but I need to see to clarify how 'advanced' these manips are going to be. I'm not as skilled as everyone, but most of the mentioned manip modifications are certainly possible.

You're right, I was thinking about it right after I made the thread. I decided that I'd what for someone to ask, though, just to be sure. :P

It's actually really hard to define an "advanced" manip. We all have different interest, strengths and weaknesses when it comes to manipping. I would basically draw the line somewhere on the grounds of time consumption. If a manip would clearly take less than half an hour to do, it's probably not for this thread.

Skill is also a clear factor but manipping is something anyone can do and an easy enough skill to acquire. If a request requires more than an expression change and a pov prop then I'd say it qualifies to be here.

Although, I expect we'll have to discuss it some.

Maybe because it's redundant and most people who can't manip anyway won't know or care to think about how long their requests will take nor what is "advanced" or "simple"? :P

Organization and separation by classification is fine, but when you get down to the nitty, gritty details, you're less likely to have things to fill the new classification with. In other words, very, very few people generally ask for very complicated manips, so this thread will likely have little to no content.

It would be a pleasant surprise if this thread were to take off, though.

You're right. I really didn't have high expectations for this thread. I just wanted to make the option available for people.

I tried to manip this one and ended up giving up. I love the pose, but obviously Satsuki (black hair)'s expression is not very conducive to just a quick eye manip. Making her expression more submissive without getting rid of the things that make her Satsuki (huge eyebrows, some degree of haughtiness) was too much for me. I guess I'd like to see some degree of fight left in her? Maybe? Maybe at the point where she's almost losing? Is that too complicated? As for the eyes, I guess I'll leave that up to your discretion, fine manipping people of Hypnohub. Just to be clear, Nui (blonde)=dom, and Satsuki (black)= sub.
If anybody does pick this up I'd like to try writing a caption for it (IDK if that can really be considered an incentive though haha.) Thank you in advance to anyone who does graciously decide to do this!

I can give it a shot. It shouldn't even really take too long. I haven't watched Kill La Kill yet so I can't promise it will be canon. In fact to be safe I'll likely just go with the standard empty eyes; just to be safe.

To be honest, even though I haven't seen the anime yet I'm starting to like the character design of Satsuki. I'm not saying that I have an eyebrow fetish but... I'm growing to like larger eyebrows more and more on anime girls. And the hime cut has always been a win for me.

Well hey, I wouldn't be too worried about the image manipulation itself being canon :p And thanks for offering to do it! I look forwards to seeing whatever you come up with.

Also everybody loves Satsuki, but I'm starting to get into Nui myself. I guess I like characters who kind of self-consciously straddle the line between cute and sexy.

Here it is: post #11686 I wasn't really sure how to keep the "haughtiness" in her persona so I just tried to go for a sort of worried "this is actually happening!?" kind of look. That along with a dazed expression (which is my favorite expression in H&MC) seem to blend fairly well with the image, in the end. I thought about doing a sort of smile but I don't think that would've fit very well. Anyway, I hope you like it.

That was indeed a good one. You actually managed to keep Satstuki looking like Satsuki while also having her seem out of it. Bravo!
