Hypno Lyrics in Normal Songs.
So a while back someone began posting pictures featuring the lyrics from "Hotel California". One of the commentators never realized how the song could be hypnosis themed and I remarked that a lot of songs are like that if your imagination is cued in the way ours is.

So I thought, "why not see how many songs we can turn into our hypno tools?" List here songs you've heard that weren't overtly used for some mind control media that could be applied to it. Could be fun.

The first one I'll offer is <<www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_DsYLwKU5A|"The Raid">> by Big Bad Bosses. The techno beat and occasional mention about how no one's coming to help you sounds like Bowser's latest plan to brainwash and kidnap Princess Peach. So much so that I commissioned a piece <<hypnohub.net/post/show/43...-blonde_hair-clothed-danc|inspired by that idea.>>

Number two is <<www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qx4wmsPOAI|"All Eyes on Me">> by OR3O. This one especially fits because it'd be in character for Alice Angel. She's obsessed with being the star and the center of attention, she'd jump at the chance to brainwash the masses into her loyal fans. It's especially strong in the ending chorus, <<www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0-vSQvabIo|which became a meme in itself.>>

I first heard this song on a Fallout 4 radio mod. I liked it so much that I was very close to doing a short comic wherein an aging Ghoul crooner with a mastery over auditory hypnosis charms a trio of lovelies into his singing troupe; the girls dress in slutty USO outfits and put on shows in dive bars around the wasteland, and sing this tune and others to entrance the patrons into forgetting their troubles and having a wild night. I'd still like to do this story someday with OCs.

I'm barely a musical and definitely not a composer, and at face value you wouldn't consider this song hypnotic. But it's always felt to me that there's a lot of deliberately cyclical rhythms and lyrics in this song that kind of remind me of how one might structure a hypnosis script.

Incidentally, if you're willing to look for it (and read into it), there's tons of songs written and sung by female vocalists over the past century that slyly call to attention the feeling of being hypnotized, entranced, or generally losing control through the influence of love.

I frequently have my OC Kenny sing parts of "The World in My Eyes" by Depeche Mode to people in RPs or just in responses on his blog. The lyrics invoke very strong hypnosis/seduction vibes, and I find it to be very sexy.

Also, the song "Entangled" by Genesis is literally about hypnosis as a form of therapy, and I've had Kenny sing it to someone as well.

Genesis! ~<3 I adore their conceptual songs. Their songs paint such clear stories.

Strangely enough, the lyrics of Mumford & Sons' "Awake My Soul" is quite hypnotic. At least, I found it to be about hypnosis. Maybe I've sort-of implied that "your maker" is the 'tist in this case, as in the creator of your trance, or yourself, whom you can meet while deep in trance.
How fickle my heart and how woozy my eyes
I struggle to find any truth in your lies
And now my heart stumbles on things I don't know
My weakness I feel I must finally show

Lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all
But lend me your heart and I'll just let you fall
Lend me your eyes I can change what you see
But your soul you must keep, totally free
Har har, har har, har har, har har

Awake my soul
Awake my soul

How fickle my heart and how woozy my eyes
I struggle to find any truth in your lies
And now my heart stumbles on things I don't know
My weakness I feel I must finally show
Har har, har har, har har, har har

In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die
And where you invest your love, you invest your life
In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die
And where you invest your love, you invest your life

Awake my soul
Awake my soul
Awake my soul
For you were made to meet your maker

Awake my soul
Awake my soul
Awake my soul
For you were made to meet your maker
You were made to meet your maker
The only other thing I have that's lyrically hypnotic perhaps is "Golden Brown" from the Stranglers, which -- as I've been told -- is about marijuana and not a magical girl with golden brown hair. (As a brunette with a golden shine in summer, I was so disappointed when they told me! I wanted magic, damn it!)

There's also a song or two in Dutch, but I won't bother with those because they're heckin' hard to translate.

The song "Every Breath You Take" would work well, I think.

(So... adding a musical note emoji makes the entire post go blank in spite of it working in the preview. God this forum software is utter shit.)

I always thought this had a pretty hypnotic undertone.
