Is There Anyway, By Chance, That Someone Could Help Me Find A Song?
I want to find a certain J-Rock song that I heard for on a 'Tales of' series MAD (that's a Music Anime Douga, Douga = Video; for those unfamiliar).

The problem is, as you might have guessed, I have no idea how to do so when I lack the information of who sang the song or what it might be associated with.

I've already checked and it's in no way associated with the 'Tales of' series at all save for that random fan made MAD.

So I was wondering if there was anyway to find a song from another country (in this case, Japan) when all you could remember is the how the song sounds.

I would appreciate you're help in finding this song again. I actually haven't heard it in around 6 years or so.

Edit: I forgot to mention, the MAD I originally heard this song on is actually the only place that I have ever heard this song and that video is now gone. I have yet to find it or another with this song since it was removed from YouTube long ago. It might be on NicoNicoDouga but I just can't bring myself to try to figure out how to navigate that site.

2nd Edit: After getting a suggestion from FoolyCooly, I've realized that I a description for this song might be helpful.
So, the song starts with, what sounds to me, like bag pipes and follow a glass-like sounding piano tune. Almost as if it were played on a xylophone of some kind. It then proceeds to the vocals of a Japanes female singer with somewhat of an alto-voice.
The song is very upbeat and steady and even hope bringing. It's actually a rather inspirational sounding melody. The song has guitars playing throughout and even uses heavy metal guitars.

For now that is the gist of it.

Of course not. If I did I could just ask in the comments section of the video.
I should probably add this information to the OP.

Could you make a vocaroo of you humming the chorus of the song or something. That would give a way higher chance of someone discovering what the song is.

Here is what I can provide so far: vocaroo.com/i/s0pjP1GBVWD7

Mind you the original singer of the song is a Japanese female so what you're going to here will indeed sound like cruel shredding of the ear drums by a wasp stinger in comparison.

Sorry for my bad voice. Also my recording gear is base minimum.

Do you have a bit more to go on? what instruments were used, was it fast/slow happy/sad? what sort of voice as the singer using?

Right, that's a good idea. I'll update the OP.

Sorry, I can't really help you with your search. I was just wondering if there's a difference between an AMV and MAD?

Also, do you know if the channel that had the MAD is still on the site?

I can say for certain that I do not know. I can't even be sure of which channel it was, in fact.
