Huh, nice coincidence. I'd say that one as well - although I also remember a <<mental-block.wikia.com/wiki/Atlantis:_The_Lost_Empire|scene from Disney's Atlantis>> that I was fond of.

Triple: I don't really remember much from my childhood, but one thing that really stands out is in a game called Alundra 2 you would meet a woman complaining about how lazy her husband is, later you find a cult inserting a windup key in the husband turning him into a robot, later if you go to the wife who'll tell you how hardworking his became since she last spoke with you.

Triple: I think this fits here its not where my fetish started but its my oldest memory about MC of any sort and I do have a windup key fetish now ^-^

For me, it was two episodes of Danny Phantom. First was the one with Ember and her mind-controlling music, and the second was the one with the giant plant-ghost. The second one I think did more for me. I was still in elementary school when that show ran, but damn if the mind-control aspect of it didn't stick with me.

Hypno the pokemon, lots of Scooby-Doo scenes, Power Rangers stuff (already mentioned in the thread), Jasmine in Aladdin... Sailor Moon also had its fair share, but I wasn't really into the show like my GF was. Same with Kaa... The first time I saw a Jedi Mind Trick in A New Hope...

As I got older, Totally Spies hit the mark a couple times, YuGiOh (still does... there's even a story told through card art in the real game, involving hypnosis. Look up "hypnosister" and follow the trail), Ember on Danny Phantom (already mentioned in the thread).

Yea, I remember a lot of stuff pointing me in the right direction. Had to hide it from a then-close friend who thought it was really weird but got more comfortable with myself around 14-15 years old. Started really researching actual hypnosis and trance around the same time, and officially became a hypnotist after high school.
