Newest purge of content from this wonderful site.

What's up. Seven whole pages (on the recently deleted tab) of content just gone. Half of it not even given a reason for the deletion.

6 year old content, literally everything from mindwipe, all of those great fucking captions and they got purged.I can't even tell how many of my favorite pictures got deleted because there's nowhere else I know of they they've been posted online.

Is this the future of the site? Purging hundreds and hundreds of pictures in huge waves every other month?

It seems its because Mindwipe actually requested for his work to be taken down.

I took them down because I wanted them gone. I even said I was going to do so. I posted a comment on my highest-rated manip 1 week ahead of time. Then I did so again 2 days before. Then again 1 day before. Sorry if you somehow missed all those warnings, but I made my plans known. This is nothing to do with site moderation; this was my own decision.

You could've made a topic on the forums to warn people. Instead of a comment on a manip probably around 6 years old on here.

I'm just mad because there were a lot of old manips I loved but don't really remember well (because of the age of them not the quality at all), but would've wanted to had them saved. I think I had a few in my favorites but now I can't tell which ones were or weren't there.

All of that stuff is just gone into the void (which has been happening a lot recently and is infuriating), unless you planned on putting them up somewhere else, I don't understand the reasoning behind removing them.

Mindwipe is the one who posted them - he has the right to have them removed without giving each user a personal notification, or explaining his reasoning. When there's an image I love from here, I save it. You should have done the same.

Can we lock this thread now? It seems pointless, apart from the potential for it to devolve into squabbling.

Mindwipe has given notice multiple times that you would have noticed if you were looking in the comments, he didn't have to but he did and now that you know what happened Timo i am locking this thread.
