To me it sounds drawn pictures might be safe from that and it only affects actuall photos - but maybe I am just naive....

I haven't even running my lewd tumblr for a year and now this, sheesh it has not been a good few days for me on the smut side of things. It says this in the guidelines now:

"Adult Content. Don't upload images, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples —this includes content that is so photorealistic that it could be mistaken for featuring real-life humans (nice try, though). Certain types of artistic, educational, newsworthy, or political content featuring nudity are fine. Don’t upload any content, including images, videos, GIFs, or illustrations, that depicts sex acts. For more information about what this guideline prohibits and how to appeal decisions about adult content, check out our help desk."

Key part being artistic nudity, so its possible tumblr will end up like deviantart where kink stuff is fine as long as its not too sexual.

Considering how many porn artists got purged off their site, it's no surprise they'd pull this shit

I wouldn't say this helps "SJWs" in any way, shape or form, given that quite a lot of the porn stuff on the platform was actually done by marginalized populations like LGBTs - in fact, it wouldn't surprise me if what you call SJWs are more up in arms about this than any conservatives.

I dunno if anyones been checking but the bots that are flagging the nsfw are...well not great, they've flagged stuff on my lewd blog that isn't even explicit in anyway so get fucked I guess.
